As the notice (Notice No. 20) published on 2082/08/05 from the office of Dupcheshwar Rural Municipality regarding filling staff posts on service contract for the posts as per the schedule below has been amended and republished, this notice has been issued for the information of all concerned, requesting eligible and interested Nepali citizens to submit applications in due form within the prescribed time.

1. Required Documents to be Submitted with Application

Along with the application for the relevant post as demanded above, copies of educational qualification certificates, copy of citizenship certificate, and copies of certificates showing work experience must be submitted.

The application form can be obtained from the administration branch of the rural municipality or from the rural municipality’s website www.dupcheshwormun.gov.np.

2. Academic Qualification

Public Health Officer: At least a Bachelor’s degree passed in Public Health.

Psychosocial Counselor:

Health Assistant or Staff Nurse from an accredited educational institution,

or
Bachelor’s degree passed in Public Health / Nursing / Psychology / Sociology / Social Work / Health Education from a recognized university,

or
Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling passed,

and

Basic computer knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Internet etc.),
Ability to prepare reports in Nepali language.

Special priority will be given to those who have obtained a 6-month training in psychosocial counselling from the National Health Training Centre and have a certificate from that Centre.

In the context of Psychosocial Counselors working under the SaMi programme:

At least Proficiency Certificate Level or 10+2 or equivalent passed,
6-month training in psychosocial counselling received from the National Health Training Centre and certificate obtained from that Centre,
Listed in the training management system of the National Health Training Centre.

ANM: ANM or Certificate Level Nursing course passed from a recognized educational institution and registered with the Nepal Nursing Council.

Assistant Sub Engineer: SLC or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution and TSLC or equivalent course in the related subject passed.

Assistant Computer Operator:

SLC or equivalent examination passed with Computer as a subject from a recognized educational institution,

or
SLC or equivalent examination passed and 3 months’ computer training received from a recognized institution.

Nutrition Facilitator:

Proficiency Certificate Level or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution,
Permanent residence within this rural municipality,
Priority to be given to those from socially and economically backward groups, married women and those having experience in the field of social mobilisation.

Municipal Police:

For Police Head Constable: At least Secondary Level passed.
For Municipal Police Constable: Basic Level or equivalent passed.
No punishment for a criminal offence involving moral turpitude.
Not a member of any political party.
No punishment for violation of humanitarian law.
For women: height 5 feet; for men: height 5 feet 2 inches.
Chest measurement for men: 33 inches expanded and 31 inches unexpanded.
Must have a certificate of good health from an approved medical practitioner.

First priority will be given to persons retired from Nepal Police and Nepal Army or those who have resigned while receiving gratuity service.

Returnee Volunteer: Passed class 8 and has gone for foreign employment and worked there for at least 1 year.

3. Age

For Public Health Officer: Must have completed 21 years and not exceeded 35 years (for women, not exceeded 40 years).
For Nutrition Facilitator: Must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 45 years.
For Municipal Police: Must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 40 years.
For other posts (ANM, Psychosocial Counselor, Assistant Sub Engineer, Assistant Computer Operator, Returnee Volunteer): Must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 35 years (for women, not exceeded 40 years).

4. Application Fee

For Public Health Officer: Rs. 1,200
For Assistant Level Fifth and Fourth: Rs. 700
For other posts: Rs. 400

The application fee must be deposited in the internal revenue account of Dupcheshwar Rural Municipality, account no. 064001062000004 at Everest Bank Limited, Samundratar Branch, or at the revenue branch of the rural municipality, and the voucher must be submitted.

5. Place for Submitting Application

Applications must be submitted to the Office of Dupcheshwar Rural Municipality, Samundratar, Nuwakot.

Applicants may also submit an application by creating a PDF file including the application fee voucher and sending it via the rural municipality’s e-mail dupchermun2017@gmail.com.
