Gandaki Invites Applications for Psychologist Post
The Provincial Public Health Centre, Pokhara, under the Ministry of Health of the Gandaki Province Government, has published a notice regarding recruitment on service contract. According to the notice first published on 2082.12.28, staff have been requested under the Safe Migration (SAMI) program being implemented in Gandaki Province with the objective of making foreign employment safe, dignified, systematic, and reliable.
As manpower is required on service contract to support capacity development, monitoring, and other technical assistance for psychosocial counselors working in local levels within the province, eligible candidates have been invited to submit applications to the Administration Section of the Centre within 15 days along with the required documents.

Minimum Required Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed a postgraduate degree in Psychology from a recognized academic institution (university), with specialization in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or School Psychology, and have at least 2 years of work experience in the related field.
Or, candidates must have passed a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling, worked for at least 3 years as a supervisor of psychosocial counselors, and completed the psychosocial counseling Training of Trainers (TOT) training prepared by the National Health Training Centre.
If the academic qualification was obtained from a foreign educational institution, a certificate of equivalency determined by the concerned authority must be submitted.
Candidates must have computer knowledge and be able to use MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Email, Internet, and KOBO Tool with ease, and must be able to type in both Nepali and English.
