Promotion and Vacancy Notice – Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited (HIDCL)

Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited (HIDCL), New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, has published a notice regarding promotion based on performance evaluation.

According to the approval received from the Public Service Commission on 2082/05/05, vacant positions in the company are to be filled through promotion based on performance evaluation in accordance with the HIDCL Employee Regulation, 2068 (with amendments). Eligible employees must apply using the application form prescribed by the Position Fulfillment Committee and submit it to the HIDCL office located on the 4th floor of the Citizen Investment Trust Building, New Baneshwor, by 2082/05/26.

Examination Fee

Payment Method

Examination fee must be deposited in the name of Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited at Everest Bank Limited, Singhadurbar Branch, Account No. 00100105201098. The original voucher must be attached with the application form.

Open and Internal Competitive Examination Notice

According to the approval received from the Public Service Commission on 2082/05/05, HIDCL invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens to permanently fill the following vacant positions through open and internal competition, as per the HIDCL Employee Regulation, 2068 (with amendments).

The application form must be downloaded from www.hidcl.org.np, affixed with a recently taken passport-size photograph, and submitted along with copies of academic certificates, training, experience, and citizenship to the HIDCL office, 4th floor, Citizen Investment Trust Building, New Baneshwor. If the last date of submission falls on a public holiday, the application can be submitted the next working day during office hours.

According to the Supreme Court’s order dated 2079/10/24 in relation to Writ No. 078-WO-0660, the vacant positions will be filled after the necessary legal arrangements.

Examination Details

1. Type of Examination: Written and interview (as per syllabus)

2. Examination Center: Kathmandu

3. Medium of Examination: Nepali or English or both (as specified in the syllabus)

   • Level 7: Rs. 1,200 (One thousand two hundred only)

9. Age Limit:

   • For Level 9: Between 21 and 45 years as of the last application date.

   • No age bar for permanent HIDCL employees.
