Kapilvastu Hospital, Taulihawa, Announces Contract Vacancies for Various Health and Technical Positions

Kapilvastu Hospital, Taulihawa, Kapilvastu, under the Health Directorate, Ministry of Health, Government of Lumbini Province, has invited applications for various health and technical positions on a service contract basis.

The hospital published its first vacancy notice on 2083/07/19, inviting applications from qualified and interested Nepali citizens within 15 days.

The recruitment will fill vacant positions under the hospital's approved staffing structure and various hospital programs in accordance with the Contract Employee Management Procedure (Amendment), 2080.

The contract appointments will remain valid until the end of Ashadh 2084 BS. However, if a position is filled through permanent recruitment before that date, the corresponding contract appointment will automatically terminate.

Applicants who meet the qualifications prescribed under the Provincial Civil Service Act and Regulations, 2080, must submit duly completed applications in the format specified by the Contract Employee Management Procedure (Amendment), 2080.

The notice states that applications received after the deadline or submitted without fulfilling the prescribed requirements will not be considered.

Advertisement Details, Positions, Levels, and Required Numbers

The hospital has announced the following vacancies:

Special Provision for Medical Officer and Staff Nurse Roster Lists

For Advertisement Nos. 11/083-84 and 12/083-84, the hospital has introduced a roster-based recruitment provision because of the increasing frequency of staff departures and the need to fill vacant positions immediately through service contracts to maintain hospital services.

At the time of publishing the shortlist, the hospital will prepare merit-based roster lists containing a maximum of 10 Medical Officers and 10 Staff Nurses.

Within one year, vacant positions will be filled through service contracts from these roster lists according to the candidates' merit order.

The completed application form, along with all required supporting documents, must be submitted to Kapilvastu Hospital.

2. Application Fees

The application fees are prescribed according to the level of the position:

• Ninth Level: NPR 1,200

• Seventh and Eighth Levels: NPR 1,000

• Fifth Level: NPR 500

3. Application Deadline

The last date for submitting applications is 2083/08/03, within office hours.

4. Age Limit

The age limit for applicants will be as prescribed by the Lumbini Province Civil Service Act and Regulations, 2080.

5. Minimum Educational Qualifications

The minimum educational qualifications required for the advertised positions will be as prescribed by the Lumbini Province Public Service Commission.

6. Work Experience Requirements

For positions requiring work experience, applicants must submit documents verifying the required period of service.

Acceptable documents include:

• Initial appointment letter establishing the period of service.

• Employment contract letter.

• Contract extension letters.

• Certified copies of attendance records maintained by the relevant institution throughout the required period of experience.

• Other supporting documents certified or recommended by the relevant institution to verify attendance and the required service period.

8. Documents Required with the Application

Applicants must submit one self-attested copy of each of the following documents:

1. Personal details of the applicant.

2. Nepali citizenship certificate.

3. Educational qualification certificates.

4. Training certificates.

5. Work experience certificates.

6. Certificate of registration with the relevant professional council for the position applied for.

Applicants must complete all required details in the prescribed application form and submit the following additional items:

• Three recently taken passport-size photographs.

• Receipt confirming payment of the prescribed application fee.

9. Selection Criteria and Procedure

Candidates will be selected through the following process:

• Shortlisting.

• Interview.

Only candidates included in the shortlist will be selected to participate in the interview.

Salary and allowances will be provided according to the prevailing pay scale.

According to the notice issued by the Office Chief, the names of shortlisted candidates and interview-related information will be published through different official channels based on the level of the advertised position.
