Kawasoti Municipality Announces Municipal Police Constable Vacancy on Contract Basis

Kawasoti Municipality, Municipal Executive Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), Gandaki Province, has invited applications for the position of Municipal Police Constable on a contract basis.

The municipality published a vacancy notice on Kartik 10, 2083 BS (2083/07/10), inviting applications from interested and eligible Nepali citizens.

According to the notice, recruitment will be conducted under the "Procedures for Managing Employees on a Contract Basis, 2075."

Minimum Qualifications and Physical Requirements

Applicants must meet the following educational, age, legal and physical requirements:

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) or an equivalent examination from an educational institution recognized by the Government of Nepal.

Age Limit

Applicants must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years as of the application deadline.

Legal Eligibility

Candidates must not be disqualified under prevailing laws and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence involving moral turpitude.

Physical Standards

Applicants must meet the following physical requirements:

• Height: At least 5 feet 2 inches.

• Chest Measurement: At least 31 inches unexpanded and 33 inches expanded.

• Eyesight: Visual refractive error must not exceed minus 2 or plus 2.

• Weight: At least 50 kilograms.

Application Procedure, Fee and Deadline

Interested candidates must complete the prescribed application process within the specified period.

• Application Deadline: Within 15 (fifteen) days from the publication date of the notice, during office hours.

• Application Fee: NPR 500 (five hundred rupees only).

Documents Required for Application

Applicants must submit the application form along with the revenue payment receipt and self-attested copies of the following documents:

1. Nepali citizenship certificate.

2. Academic mark sheets and character certificates.

3. Qualification and experience certificates.

4. Two recently taken passport-sized photographs.

Candidates shortlisted for the interview must also submit a medical fitness certificate issued by an authorized medical practitioner.
