KMC Seeks Experts Roster for Environmental Study
Kathmandu — The Environment Management Department, Kamaladi, under the City Executive of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has invited applications to prepare a list, or roster, of experts to serve on technical committees formed for environmental study purposes.
The department issued a notice on Baisakh 23, 2083, requesting interested and qualified individuals to submit applications within seven days from the date of publication of the notice.
The notice states that the roster is being prepared in accordance with the legal provision under Section 14 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s Brief Environmental Study and Initial Environmental Examination Procedure, 2078.
Expert Areas and Required Qualifications
Structural Engineer

Subject Expert: Structural Engineer

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in structural engineering from an educational institution recognized by the Government of Nepal.
Architect
-
Subject Expert: Architect
-
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in architecture or civil engineering from an educational institution recognized by the Government of Nepal.
Required Work Experience
Applicants seeking to be listed as experts must also submit work experience documents.
The required criteria include at least seven years of work experience in the relevant field with experience in preparing environmental study reports, or more than seven years of teaching and research experience in the above-mentioned subject areas.
