Lamahi Municipality Announces Contract Vacancies in Health and Agriculture Services

Lamahi Municipality, Dang, has invited applications for various positions on a contract basis under federal government conditional grant programmes implemented through its Health and Agriculture Sections.

The Municipal Executive Office published a vacancy notice on Kartik 10, 2083 BS (2083/07/10), inviting applications from eligible Nepali citizens for employment until the end of Asar in the current fiscal year 2083/084.

Vacancy Details

The municipality has announced three positions under the Health and Agriculture Services.

All positions are offered on a contract basis.

Minimum Educational Qualifications and Age Limits

Applicants must meet the educational and age requirements prescribed for their respective positions.

1. Public Health Officer (Seventh Level)

• Educational Qualification: Must have completed at least a Bachelor's degree in Public Health or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational institution.

• Age Limit: Must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 45 years as of the application deadline.

2. Agriculture Graduate (Officer, Sixth Level)

• Educational Qualification: Must have completed at least a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from a recognized university or educational institution.

• Age Limit: Must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years. For female candidates, the upper age limit is 40 years.

3. Campaigner/Assistant (Fourth Level)

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed the Auxiliary Ayurvedic Health Worker (AAHW) course or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational institution and must be registered with the Ayurveda Medical Council.

• Age Limit: Must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 45 years.

All applicants must also be legally eligible for contract employment under prevailing laws.

Interested and qualified candidates must submit their applications within the prescribed deadline.

• Application Fee for Public Health Officer (Seventh Level): NPR 1,000.

• Application Fee for Agriculture Graduate (Officer, Sixth Level): NPR 1,000.

• Application Fee for Campaigner/Assistant (Fourth Level): NPR 400.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents along with the required details and revenue payment receipt:

1. Photocopy of Nepali citizenship certificate.

2. Photocopies of educational qualification certificates.

3. Two passport-sized photographs.

4. Documents related to work experience.

Selection Process and Contact Date

Candidates will be selected according to the "Procedures for Managing Technical Employees on a Contract Basis in Lamahi Municipality, 2075."

The selection process will include:

1. Preliminary shortlisting.

2. Interview.
