Application fee: For each advertisement, an application fee of Rs. 700 (seven hundred) must be paid. For candidates applying under additional advertisements of inclusive groups, an additional fee of Rs. 200 (two hundred) must be paid for each additional group.

Application deadlines

Final date to apply: 2082/11/19 (BS), and up to 2082/11/26 (BS) by paying double fee.

Age limit

By 2082/11/19 (BS), the candidate must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years of age, and in the case of women and persons with disabilities, must not have exceeded 40 years of age.

In the case of Health Service posts, by 2082/11/19 (BS), the candidate must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 45 years of age.

The age limit will not apply to permanent incumbent civil servants for posts under the Civil Service, Health Service, and Federal Parliament Service, and to permanent incumbent employees of the National Human Rights Service for posts under the National Human Rights Service.

In accordance with the interim order of the Honorable Supreme Court dated 2079/10/20 (BS), until the final settlement of the case, the age limit will also not apply to incumbent government employees who were recommended through the examination conducted for local levels pursuant to the advertisement published by the Public Service Commission on 2076/12/15 (BS) and are currently in service, for the advertised posts of the Civil Service. Such candidates must upload an application stating the same in the Experience section of the online application system.

Method and place to pay the application fee

The application fee can be paid directly through electronic means via the Commission’s online application system, or by printing a bank voucher containing the Master ID and transaction code number and paying cash at designated banks.

Deadline to pay the application fee

No later than 2082/11/27 (BS), the prescribed examination fee or double fee must be compulsorily paid.

Documents to be uploaded

The candidate must upload the documents specified in the relevant advertisement, including academic qualification, training, experience, and documents establishing eligibility for inclusive groups, in PDF format at the designated place in the online application system.

All candidates must scan and upload the front side of their citizenship certificate in JPG format.

The candidate will be fully responsible for the details stated in the application.

Special notice

As per the notice published in the Nepal Gazette dated 2067/3/15 (BS), only women candidates may submit an application form for the post of Women Development Inspector.

Minimum required qualifications

Civil Service

In addition to not being disqualified under Section 10 of the Civil Service Act, 2049, the candidate must have obtained the minimum academic qualification prescribed below in accordance with Rule 15 of the Civil Service Regulations, 2050.

1. Supervisor, Economic Planning and Statistics, Statistics: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any subject with Statistics or Mathematics from a recognized educational institution.

2. Sub Engineer, Engineering, Civil General: Certificate level or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

3. Sub Engineer, Engineering, Civil Highway: Certificate level or equivalent in the relevant Engineering subject from a recognized educational institution.

4. Sub Engineer, Engineering, Civil Irrigation: Certificate level or equivalent in the relevant Engineering subject from a recognized educational institution.

5. Sub Engineer, Engineering, Civil Sanitary: Certificate level or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

6. Hydrology Assistant, Engineering, Civil Hydrology: Certificate level in the relevant Engineering subject or certificate level in Science, or equivalent, from a recognized educational institution.

7. Sub Engineer, Engineering, Civil B & Arch.: Certificate level or equivalent in Civil or Architectural Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

8. Electrical Technician, Engineering, Electrical General Electrical: Diploma/certificate level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

9. Mechanical Supervisor/Mechanical Overseer, Engineering, Mechanical, General Mechanical: Certificate level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

10. Senior Mechanics/Senior Welder, Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Equipment Maintenance: Certificate level or diploma level or equivalent in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

11. Surveyor/Survey (Napi) Inspector, Engineering, Survey: S.L.C. or equivalent passed with Mathematics, and passed a three-year proficiency certificate level diploma in Survey or Geomatics; or passed certificate level with Science (Physical Group) or Geography and obtained at least one year of junior survey (Napi) training. However, for employees who were in service in the Engineering Service, Survey Group prior to the publication of the notice dated 2068 Bhadra 12 (BS), the academic qualification prescribed at the time of entry into that service and group will be considered the minimum academic qualification.

12. Assistant Chemist/Sampler, Engineering, Chemistry: B.Sc. or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution, or I.Sc. or equivalent passed in Food Technology.

13. Technical Assistant, Agriculture, Crop Development/Crop Protection: Proficiency certificate level (I.Sc. Ag.) in Agricultural Science from a recognized educational institution; or TSLC/SEE passed and passed at least a three-year diploma in Agriculture (Major in Plant Science); or passed JTA course and passed a one-year JT course (technical certificate) in Agricultural Science.

14. Technical Assistant, Agriculture, Fisheries: Proficiency certificate level (I.Sc. Ag.) in Agriculture or Animal Science from a recognized educational institution; or TSLC/SEE passed and passed at least a three-year diploma in Agriculture or Animal Science; or passed JTA course and passed a one-year JT course (technical certificate) in Agriculture or Animal Science.

15. Animal Health Technician, Agriculture, Veterinary: Proficiency certificate level (I.Sc. Ag.) in Animal Science from a recognized educational institution; or TSLC/SEE passed and passed at least a three-year diploma in Animal Science; or passed JTA course in Animal Science and passed a one-year JT course (technical certificate) in Animal Science.

16. Technical Assistant, Agriculture, Food Nutrition and Quality Control: I.Tech passed in Food Technology from a recognized educational institution, or passed a three-year diploma level or equivalent in Food Technology.

Note: As stated in the clarification published in the Nepal Gazette, Volume 62, Number 36, Part 5 dated 2069/8/25 (BS), regarding the minimum academic qualification for various groups under the Agriculture Service, “the academic qualification will not apply to civil servants who entered the service prior to the publication of this notice, and for such civil servants it will be as per the provisions stated in the previous regulations.”

17. Ranger, Forestry, National Park and Wildlife: Certificate level or equivalent passed in Forestry Science from a recognized educational institution.

18. Nayab Subba, Forestry, Hattisar: Having knowledge of elephant care, feed and water (including grass), and grazing; having knowledge of using vehicle-type house weighing bridge, machines for compressing grass into blocks, machines for compressing feed into blocks, and a salt-searching machine; having knowledge of equipment required for elephant operation; being able to use elephants while administering medicine and treatment when wild animals are sick; having general knowledge regarding wildlife and wildlife habitat; being able to use elephants to catch (trapping) wild animals; being able to take runaway elephants under control; being able to train elephants and handlers; and having at least 3 (three) years of experience in a post one level below.

19. Computer Technician, Miscellaneous: Certificate level passed in Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering from a recognized educational institution; or certificate level passed in Mechanical Engineering and obtained at least 6 (six) months of training related to computer repair from a recognized institution; or certificate level passed and obtained at least 1 (one) year of training related to computer repair from a recognized institution.

20. Computer Operator, Miscellaneous: Proficiency certificate level or equivalent passed with Computer subject from a recognized educational institution; or proficiency certificate level or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution and obtained at least 6 (six) months of computer training from a registered institution; or proficiency certificate level or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution and obtained the 6 (six) month computer training conducted for Skilled Manpower by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

21. Head Teacher (Tailoring), Miscellaneous: Certificate level passed from a recognized educational institution and obtained at least 1 (one) year of training in the related subject from an institution approved by the Government of Nepal; or proficiency certificate level passed in the related subject from a recognized technical educational institution; or S.L.C. passed and obtained 2 (two) years of training in the related subject from an institution approved by the Government of Nepal.

22. Women Development Inspector, Miscellaneous: Proficiency certificate level or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution.

23. Technical Assistant, Education, Education Administration, Inspection: Certificate level or equivalent passed in Education from a recognized educational institution.

24. Library Assistant, Education, Library Science: Certificate level passed in Library Science from a recognized educational institution; or certificate level or equivalent passed in any subject and obtained at least 1 (one) month of institutional training related to Library Science.

25. Technical Assistant, Education, Archaeology, Archaeology: Bachelor’s degree passed in Archaeology from a recognized educational institution; or bachelor’s degree passed with History and Culture as the major subject, or equivalent.

26. Recording Operator, Federal Parliament, Technical: 10+2 or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution and obtained at least 3 (three) months of basic computer training and at least 1 (one) month of training related to recording.

27. Electrical Overseer, Federal Parliament, Technical: Certificate level or equivalent passed in Electrical Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

In the case of Secondary Education Examination (S.L.C.E.) certificates issued before 2078/9/3 (BS), academic certificates with a minimum D+ in each subject (theory and practical) of Grades 11 and 12 and a Cumulative Grade Point Average (C.G.P.A.) of 1.6 will be recognized.

Health Service

In addition to not being disqualified under Section 10 of the Civil Service Act, 2049, the candidate must have obtained the minimum academic qualification prescribed below in accordance with Rule 15 of the Civil Service Regulations, 2050.

For Open:

1. Staff Nurse, Health, General Nursing: Certificate level passed in Nursing from a recognized educational institution.

2. Lab Technician, Health, Medical Lab Technologist, J. Me. Lya. Te.: Certificate level passed in Health Lab from a recognized educational institution, or S.L.C. passed from a recognized educational institution and passed a 2 (two) years 6 (six) months course of Lab Technician.

3. Health Assistant/Senior AHW, Health, Health Inspection: Certificate level passed in General Medicine from a recognized educational institution.

4. Radiographer, Health, Radiography: Certificate level passed in Radiography from a recognized educational institution.

5. Medical Recorder Supervisor, Health, Medical Records: Bachelor’s degree obtained with Statistics or Mathematics from a recognized educational institution.

National Human Rights Service

In addition to not being disqualified under Rule 14 of the Employees’ Service, Terms, and Facilities Regulations of the National Human Rights Commission, 2079 (including amendments), the candidate must have obtained the minimum academic qualification prescribed below in accordance with Rule 12 of the same Regulations.

1. Information Technology Assistant, National Human Rights: Proficiency certificate level or equivalent passed from a recognized educational institution with Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology as the major subject.
