Lumbini Province 9th Level Officer Competitive Examination Notice

Lumbini Province Public Service Commission (Lumbini Pradesh Lok Sewa Aayog), Province Civil Service and Local Civil Service – 9th Level Officer (Technical/Non-Technical) Posts - Inter-Level, Open and Inclusive Competitive Examination Advertisement - Notice No.: 171/082-83 and Published Date: 2082/08/26.

As per the Province Civil Service Act, 2080 and the Local Civil Service Act, 2081, and based on requisitions received from the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Lumbini Province and from local levels within the province for post fulfilment, the 9th level (technical/non-technical) officer posts in the services, groups and sub-groups listed below are to be filled.

These posts will be filled under the Province Civil Service Act and Regulations, and the Local Civil Service Act and Regulations, through inter-level, open and inclusive competitive examinations. Therefore, electronic (online) applications are invited from candidates who meet the required qualifications for the posts listed below.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications through the Commission’s electronic application system at www.ppsconline.lumbini.gov.np.

The inter-level posts and the open and inclusive competition posts under the Province Civil Service and Local Civil Service will be operated in an integrated manner through a single set of examinations. Candidates selected from the competitive examination will be recommended, according to order of priority, to the immediately concerned provincial and local bodies for appointment.

Mode of Application:
Applications must be submitted through the Commission’s electronic application system at ppsconline.lumbini.gov.np.

While filling the electronic application, candidates must carefully enter their personal details and ensure that all information is correct.
Candidates must compulsorily mention their mobile number and email address when filling in the details.

Application Fee

Application Fee: Rs. 1,200 (one thousand two hundred).
For candidates applying under additional service groups or inclusive groups (additional advertisements), an additional fee of Rs. 500 (five hundred) must be paid for each group.

Method and Place for Paying Application Fee

After submitting the online application form through the Commission’s Online Application system, candidates must choose one option from Online Payment or Offline Payment and complete the payment.
In the case of Online Payment, candidates may select one of the prescribed wallets and pay immediately.
In the case of Offline Payment, candidates must choose one of the designated banks, print the voucher, and deposit the prescribed fee at the concerned bank within the stipulated period (up to the next day after the closing date for the double-fee period).

Age Limit of Candidates

For posts under the Province Civil Service and Local Civil Service, as per prevailing law, candidates must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 45 years of age by 2082/09/17.
There is no age limit for permanent employees in the permanent positions of the Federal and all Provincial Civil Services and for permanent employees currently serving in permanent posts of Local Level Service.
Additionally, the age limit will apply in accordance with the restrictive provision of Sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Local Civil Service Act, 2081.
