As it is necessary to fill the positions of employees for Madhyapur Thimi Municipality as per the details below through a service contract, this notice is published to inform all concerned that eligible and interested Nepali citizens should submit the application form within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice, along with the required documents and the receipt of revenue paid at the Revenue Section of this municipality.

1. Minimum Academic Qualification
(a) For Information Technology Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or in Electronic Engineering, or in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or in Electronic and Communication Engineering from a recognized educational institution, or the academic qualification prescribed by the Public Service Commission for the Computer Officer post.
(b) For Veterinary Doctor: Completed B.V.Sc & AH or B.V.Sc or D.V.M or an equivalent qualification in Veterinary Science from a recognized educational institution and registered with the Nepal Veterinary Council.
(c) For Child Welfare Officer: At least a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in Law or Social Studies from a recognized university.

Copies of the Nepali citizenship certificate.

Copies of academic qualification certificates.

If the academic certificates are from outside Nepal, copies of equivalence determination from a university in Nepal.

All copies must be signed and certified by the applicant themself and submitted together with the application form.

6. Salary

For Information Technology Officer: equivalent to the seventh level.

For Veterinary Doctor and Child Welfare Officer: equivalent to the sixth level or similar.

For men: completed 21 years of age and not exceeding 35 years.

For women: completed 21 years of age and not exceeding 40 years.

9. Service Contract Period

The service contract period will be up to the end of Ashadh 2083.

It may be extended if required by the office and if the budget is available.
10. Curriculum
(a) For Information Technology Officer: The examination will be conducted on the basis of the first paper of the syllabus prescribed by the Province Public Service Commission, Bagmati Province, for the Provincial Civil Service and Local Service, Administration, Miscellaneous Group, Computer Officer post, seventh level open competitive examination. A practical examination will also be conducted as prescribed in the same syllabus.
(b) For Veterinary Doctor: The examination will be conducted on the basis of the first paper of the syllabus prescribed by the Province Public Service Commission, Bagmati Province, for the Nepal Agriculture, Veterinary Group, eighth level open competitive examination.
(c) For Child Welfare Officer: The written examination will be conducted on the basis of the syllabus determined by the municipality.
