National Forensic Lab Vacancy Notice 2082/83
The National Forensic Science Laboratory Development Committee, Khumaltar, Lalitpur, has invited applications to fill vacant permanent posts through open, inclusive, and internal competitive examinations. The notice states that, with the consent of the Public Service Commission, the written examination will be conducted by the Commission. (National Forensic Science Laboratory)

Eligible and interested Nepali citizens must submit duly completed applications within 21 days from the date of publication of the notice, and within an additional 7 days by paying double the fee.

The prescribed examination fee for the relevant post/level must be deposited at Agricultural Development Bank, Satdobato, Lalitpur, or any banking office of the same bank, into the account of the National Forensic Science Laboratory.

Special Notice Regarding Advertisement
The special notice regarding the advertisement states that, as per the mandamus order issued by the Honorable Supreme Court on 2079/10/24 in the petition related to certiorari, including Writ No. 078-WO-0660, the posts will be filled accordingly after legal provisions are made.
Examination and Syllabus
Type of Examination: Written and interview
The examination syllabus can be viewed or downloaded from the laboratory’s website.
Candidates who have obtained educational qualifications from abroad must compulsorily submit a copy of the equivalence certificate determined by the concerned authority.
Age Limit
For officer-level posts, candidates must have completed 21 years and must not have exceeded 35 years.
For assistant-level posts, candidates must have completed 18 years and must not have exceeded 35 years.
For women and candidates with disabilities, the age limit must not exceed 40 years.
For the tenth-level post, the age limit must not exceed 45 years.
The notice states that the age limit will not apply to permanent employees working at the laboratory.
Application Deadline

Last Date with Double Fee: 2082/03/11
Except for the double-fee deadline, if the last day for submitting applications falls on a public holiday, applications may be submitted until the next day the office opens.
The double-fee period will not be counted for the purpose of age, educational qualification, training, experience, or service period.
Written Examination Schedule and Documents
After the written examination schedule is received from the Commission, it will be published on the laboratory’s website and in Gorkhapatra.
Candidates applying under inclusive group advertisements must submit the required documents proving the concerned group.
