Nepal Water Supply Corporation Notice Regarding Recruitment Through Open and Inclusive Competitive Examinations
Nepal Khanepani Sansthan (Nepal Water Supply Corporation), Head Office, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, has invited applications for permanent recruitment to various posts through open and inclusive competitive examinations. As per the approval received from the Public Service Commission dated 2083.01.04, candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications for the vacant posts may apply within 21 days from the date of first publication of this notice (2083.01.06), and within an additional 7 days by paying double the fee.
The application form, certified copies of the prescribed academic qualifications, training, experience, citizenship certificate, and other required documents, along with the voucher or receipt of the examination fee deposited in Nabil Bank Account No. 0201017500742, must be submitted to the Corporation’s Head Office, Tripureshwor. Educational qualification certificates must have been obtained from recognized educational institutions. However, in the case of qualifications obtained from foreign educational institutions, proof of equivalency from Tribhuvan University must be submitted. Where training and experience certificates are required, they must have been obtained from institutions established in accordance with the law. Part-time work experience shall not be counted.

In the case of posts requiring registration with a professional council, candidates must submit proof of registration or renewal with the concerned professional council. For engineering-related posts, engineering council registration may be required where applicable.

For open competition in assistant-level posts, male candidates must have completed 18 years of age and not exceeded 35 years, while female candidates and candidates with disabilities must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 40 years. For officer-level sixth and seventh posts, candidates must have completed 21 years of age and not exceeded 35 years, while female candidates and candidates with disabilities must have completed 21 years and not exceeded 40 years. For officer-level eighth and ninth posts, candidates must have completed 21 years of age and not exceeded 40 years. No age limit shall apply to permanent employees currently working in the Corporation.

While applying for posts reserved for Indigenous Nationalities, Madhesi, Dalit, Persons with Disabilities, and Backward Area categories, candidates must submit proof showing inclusive eligibility as mentioned in Regulation 6 of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation Employee Service Conditions Regulations, 2051. The regulation can be viewed on the Corporation’s website.

The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission. Information regarding the written examination schedule and examination centers will be published later.

Full authority to approve or reject applications shall remain with the Corporation. Only candidates whose applications are approved will be allowed to participate in the examination. Information regarding approval or rejection of applications will be published on the Corporation’s website, and thereafter approved candidates will be provided admit cards from the Corporation’s Head Office.

When submitting applications for the written examination under both open and inclusive categories within the same advertisement, an additional fee as prescribed must be paid for each additional inclusive post.

www.nwsc.gov.np. While submitting the application form, the voucher or receipt showing payment of the prescribed fee for the post must be compulsorily submitted along with the duly completed application form. -
During the additional period allowed by paying double the fee, educational qualification, inclusive certificate, council registration certificate, training, experience, age, and service period shall not be counted.

If the final submission date, including the additional seven days with double fee, falls on a public holiday, applications will be accepted until the following day.

In addition to the examination fee prescribed for the open category, an additional fee of Rs. 500.00 shall be charged for each additional inclusive category for officer-level eighth and ninth posts, Rs. 400.00 for officer-level sixth and seventh posts, and Rs. 200.00 for assistant-level posts.

Candidates applying for non-technical fourth-level posts must attach proof of having passed the pre-qualification examination conducted by the Public Service Commission on 2082.07.15 for second-class or equivalent assistant-level non-technical posts of organized institutions.

In accordance with the mandamus order issued on 2079.10.24 by the Honorable Supreme Court in the certiorari-related petition including Writ No. 078-WO-0660, recruitment shall be carried out accordingly after the required legal provisions are made.
