NIC ASIA Bank Announces Chief Security Officer (CSO) Vacancy on Contract Basis

NIC ASIA Bank Limited has invited applications from qualified, experienced, and result-oriented professionals for the position of Chief Security Officer (CSO). The bank has announced one vacancy on a contractual basis.

The Chief Security Officer will lead the bank's overall security operations, ensuring the safety of employees, customers, premises, assets, and banking operations through effective security management, risk mitigation, surveillance, and emergency response mechanisms.

Minimum Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Management, Security Management, Law, or a related field.

• Have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, or other recognized security or law enforcement organizations, preferably in senior positions.

• Experience in security management within a bank or financial institution will be considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

• Strong knowledge of physical security management, risk assessment, and surveillance systems.

• Proven leadership skills, crisis management capabilities, and personnel management skills.

• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and decision-making abilities.

• High standards of integrity, professionalism, discipline, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

The selected Chief Security Officer will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing the bank's security policies, strategies, and procedures.

• Ensuring the security of branches, corporate offices, ATMs, cash management facilities, and other assets.

• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks and potential threats.

• Supervising security personnel, outsourced security service providers, and security infrastructure, including CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.

• Establishing and implementing emergency response and crisis management procedures.

• Coordinating with Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force, and other relevant authorities on security matters.

• Conducting security audits, inspections, and investigations and recommending corrective measures.

• Ensuring compliance with the bank's policies, regulatory directives, and applicable laws and regulations.

• Advising senior management on security risks, improvements, and strategic requirements.
