Nick Simons Institute (NSI) is an organization with a mission to innovate solutions in rural healthcare — through training, hospital support, and advocating for healthcare workers with the government of Nepal since its establishment in 2006. NSI currently seeks qualified and suitable candidates for the following position:
1. Position: MD in General Practice (MDGP)
Work Station: NSI Supported Government Hospital
Terms: One Year (Renewable)
Minimum Qualification and Requirements:
- MD in General Practice and Emergency Medicine graduated with valid NMC registration
- Competent in surgery, energetic, and ready to work in a rural setting in a district
Core Responsibility
- Work in an NSI supported government hospital as a Clinical Coordinator.
- Perform C-section and other emergency surgeries
- Provide day-to-day clinical services.
- Manage obstetric complications.
2. Position: Medical Officer
Work Station: NSI Supported Government Hospital
Terms: One Year (Renewable)
- Core Responsibility
- Work in a NSI supported government hospital as a Medical Officer.
- Provide day-to-day clinical services to patients.
- Conduct deliveries and identify obstetric complications and manage accordingly.
- Perform C-Section independently upon completion of ASBA training.
