Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. Plan International has been working in Nepal since 1978 helping marginalized children, their families and communities to access their rights to survival, protection and participation. With the close coordination of local partners and stakeholders, we are working in 23 districts across the country.

We invite applications from interested candidates for the following project-based positions:

1. Project Specialist-Resilient Future: Ending child marriage in Nepal (Project-based employment until June 2027) based in Regional Office–West (Surkhet)

Responsibility:

The position is responsible for overall planning, executing, monitoring and control and closure of the project within donor and Plan International’s compliance.

The position shall maintain close coordination with donor, local implementing partner and other key stakeholders including the three tiers of the government.

The position holder must have an in-depth understanding of project management for smooth facilitation including people management, effective organisational and programme communication and partnership management.

2. Project Officer–Resilient Future: Ending child marriage in Nepal (Project-based employment until June 2027) based in Kanchanpur District

Responsibility:

The position holder will support the Project Specialist to implement the “Resilient Future: Ending child marriage in Nepal project by planning, executing, monitoring and control and closure of the project reporting within donor compliance.

The position shall maintain close coordination with internal team, local implementing partner and other key stakeholders including the three tiers of the government.

3. Project Coordinator–Girls Get Equal 2.0 (Project-based with 2 years of employment) based in Sarlahi District (Re-advertisement)

Responsibility:

The position holder will lead the Girls Get Equal (GGE) 2.0 Project in the district with the support of the Project Manager.

Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project in compliance with donor requirements while maintaining close coordination with the internal team, the local implementing partner, and other key stakeholders, including local and provincial government levels.

The position holder must have an in-depth understanding of project management to ensure smooth facilitation, including people management, effective organizational and program communication, partnership management, and adherence to quality programming and compliance with both the Government of Nepal and donor requirements.
