Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences Extends Director Application Deadline
Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, Kaski, has extended the deadline for applications for the post of Director. The Academy’s Office-Bearer Selection and Recommendation Committee issued a notice on 2083/05/22, stating that the application period had been extended by an additional three days.
Reason for the Deadline Extension
Section 21(2) of the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences Act, 2072 states that “the Dean shall be a full-time office-bearer.” However, considering that Section 22 of the Act does not clearly contain a similar provision regarding the post of Director, the Committee has made a new decision.
According to the Academy, Section 17(1) of the Procedure Relating to the Selection and Recommendation of Office-Bearers, 2083 has now been further interpreted so that the self-declaration to be made while applying for the post of Director as a “full-time office-bearer” will be voluntary for candidates.
New Deadline
Following this new interpretation, candidates interested in applying for the post of Director have been given an additional three days.
The notice states that candidates must submit their applications within office hours on 2083/05/25.
