Radio Nepal Open Competitive Exam Job Vacancy Application Notice 2082

 Public Service Broadcasting, Radio Nepal - As per the approval received from the Public Service Commission on 2082/03/30, this notice has been published to invite applications from eligible Nepali citizens to fill permanent vacancies in Public Service Broadcasting Nepal, Radio Nepal, through open competitive examinations. 

Candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications must apply within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice by visiting Radio Nepal's website: www.radionepal.gov.np and submitting the online application form. 

While filling out the application form, candidates must complete all required fields and mandatorily upload the following scanned documents:

• Nepali Citizenship Certificate

• Transcript of the final academic qualification required for the position

• Character Certificate

• Equivalency Certificate issued by Tribhuvan University if the academic degree was obtained from a foreign institution

• Passport-size photograph 

Candidates currently employed in the Government of Nepal or in institutions owned by the Government must also upload the departmental approval letter without exception.

Applications that do not meet the specified criteria will not be processed. If incomplete or incorrect details are entered in the online form, the applicant will bear full responsibility. 

The examination fee must be paid online only through the available method via Connect IPS. Please note that there is no provision to pay the examination fee in cash.

Special Instructions Related to the Advertisement

As per the order issued by the Honorable Supreme Court on 2079/10/24 in response to Writ No. 078-WO-0660 and related transfers, recruitment under inclusive categories will be conducted only after necessary legal provisions are made accordingly.

Instructions for All Announced Positions

1. Application Form: Applications must be submitted through the online system only.

2. Examination Fee:

   • Level 8: Rs. 1,200

   • Level 7: Rs. 1,200

   • Level 6: Rs. 1,200

   • Level 5: Rs. 700

The examination fee must be paid through Connect IPS, as provided in the online portal.
If a candidate applies under more than one inclusive group for the same position, an additional fee of Rs. 200 per group must be paid.

3. Age Limit (as of the final application date):

   • For Assistant Level: Must have completed 18 years and not exceed 35 years.

   • For Officer Level (6th and 7th levels): Must have completed 21 years and not exceed 35 years.

   • For Officer Level (8th and 9th levels): Must not exceed 40 years.

   • For women and persons with disabilities: Upper age limit is 40 years.

4. Eligibility: Candidates must not be disqualified under the Radio Broadcasting Service Development Committee (Employee Service Conditions) Rules, 2077.

5. Experience for Level 8 and 9 Positions (Officer Level): Master’s degree in the relevant subject and a minimum of five years of officer-level experience in federal, provincial, or local civil service, or in a university, teaching service, or organized institution. For PhD holders, a minimum of three years of experience is acceptable.

6. Type of Examination:

   • Written

   • Practical (only for positions where practical tests are mentioned)

   • Interview

7. Documents to be Submitted (Self-Attested Copies):

   Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate

   • Copy of academic qualification certificate (only the minimum required qualification)

   • Character certificate or any document showing date of birth

   • Equivalency certificate for foreign qualifications

8. Salary and Benefits: As per the organization's rules.

9. Work Location: As specified in the respective advertisements.

10. Job Responsibilities: As determined by the related service, group, and sub-group.

11. Probation Period:

• 1 year for all candidates

• 6 months for female candidates

12. Online Application Deadline: From 2082/03/31 to 2082/04/19 (21 days from publication)

• Extended deadline with double fee: until 2082/04/26

13. If the final submission date falls on a public holiday, the next working day will be considered the final date.

14. Written exams will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

15. The exam schedule will be published later.

16. Except in the event of cancellation of the advertisement, examination fees will not be refunded.

17. Candidates applying under inclusive categories must also submit the following documents:

• Adivasi/Janajati: Certificate based on the list under the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities Act.
  If multiple surnames exist within a listed caste, a certification from the head of the local authority and confirmation by the Chief District Officer must be provided.

• Madhesi: Certificate from the designated institution notified in the Nepal Gazette, or, in its absence, a certificate issued by the Chief District Officer based on the recommendation of the head of the local body.

• Dalit: Certificate based on the list published by the National Dalit Commission.
  If multiple surnames exist within the listed caste, a certificate confirming surname under the caste must be issued by the Chief District Officer upon local recommendation.

• Persons with Disabilities: Disability certificate issued by the Social Welfare Council upon recommendation of an approved medical practitioner or as per prevailing law.

• Backward Region: Citizenship mentioning permanent residence in one of the following districts: Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu, or Humla.
  Additionally, a certificate from the respective rural/municipal authority confirming current permanent residence in the same district.

18. Single Application Form: Candidates applying under both open and inclusive categories for the same position must submit only one application form. On the first page of the application form and on the admit card, they must tick the category/groups they are applying for.

19. Authority: The organization reserves the full right to approve, reject, or cancel any application.
