RBB Merchant Banking Ltd. (A subsidiary company of the Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd.) is an established and leading investment/Merchant Bank of Nepal, located at Teku, Kathmandu. The company has currently been working in the field of Investment Banking & Merchant Banking sectors that includes Investment Management (Mutual Fund, Portfolio Management), RTS/RTA services, Issue Management, Underwriting, etc. The company aims to build up a professional team by inviting applications from young, dynamic, competent and result oriented Nepalese citizens in the following positions.

With reference to the vacancy published on 20th August 2020, the Board of Directors (BOD) of RBB Merchant Banking Ltd. had approved 3 additional vacancies for Manager/Officer and the total required no. of total vacancies are published below. Also, the applicants of the previous. published vacancy are included in this vacancy i.e. applicants of previously published vacancy are not required to reapply in this vacancy.

Job Vacancy Details:

1. Title / Department: Investment Banking / Research & Development

Position Senior Manager
Required No. 1 (One)
Selection Process Interview and presentation
Age Age should not exceed 50 years.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Master's degrees in Management/Economics from a recognized university or Chartered Accountant(CA).
  • The candidate should have 5 years of relevant work experience in officer level in the bank & financial institution/ capital markets of Nepal or related field.
  • This position will be instrumental in overall Research & Development activities relevant to merchant Banking and will be responsible to drive sales of investment Banking products like Portfolio Management Service (PMS) and Mutual Funds along with leading the department.
  • The candidate should have an understanding of Technical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis of the Share Market. 

2. Title / Department: Finance & administration / Merchant Banking

Position Manager / Officer
Required No. 2 (Two)
Selection Process Interview and presentation
Age Age should not exceed 50 years.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management/Economics from a recognized university or possess professional qualification as CA.
  • With a minimum of 5 years of experience in officer level in Bank & financial institution/ Merchant Banking/ related field.
  • This position will be responsible to lead the Merchant Banking department of the company.
  • And also requires thorough knowledge of the overall merchant banking business of Nepal with hands-on experience of managing DMAT, RTS/RTA, issue management, and underwriting,
  • Should have good knowledge of the Securities Laws of Nepal along with the ability to maintain a good relationship with regulators.
  • The role of this position is to handle the overall Finance and Administration function of the company.
  • The candidate should possess sound knowledge of capital markets, taxation, and relevant laws/ regulation of Nepal.

OR

  • Master's degrees in Management/Economics from a recognized university or possess professional qualification as CA.
  • The candidate should have 3 years of relevant work experience in the Banking & financial institution/ capital markets of Nepal.
  • This position will be responsible to lead the Merchant Banking department of the company.

Salaries and benefits: All the above vacancies are on a contract basis. Salary and benefits are negotiable.
