Sudurpashchim Health Directorate Doti Announces Contract Vacancies for Officer-Level Positions

Rajpur, Doti, 2083 Kartik 16: The Government of Sudurpashchim Province, Ministry of Social Development, Health Directorate, Rajpur, Doti, has invited applications from eligible Nepali citizens for various officer-level positions on a service contract basis.

The Directorate published its first vacancy notice on 2083/07/16, inviting applications from interested candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications.

According to the notice, the Directorate requires personnel under its approved annual program for Fiscal Year 2083/084 to provide capacity development, technical support, and facilitation to psychosocial counselors working in local governments where the Safer Migration (SaMi) Program is being implemented.

The recruitment will also support the implementation of the Minimum Service Standards (MSS) Program in hospitals.

Interested candidates must submit their applications in the format prescribed by the Sudurpashchim Province Public Service Commission within 15 days from the publication date of the notice, during office hours, along with the original voucher confirming payment of the prescribed application fee.

1. Minimum Educational Qualifications and Preference Criteria

A. Psychosocial Counseling Officer (SaMi Program)

Minimum Educational Qualification:

Applicants must meet at least one of the following educational qualification requirements:

• Must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.

• Must have completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Counseling from a recognized university.

• Must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, obtained registration with the relevant health professional council, and completed 6 months of psychosocial counseling training from a recognized institution.

Preference Criteria:

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Have completed Training of Trainers (TOT) in psychosocial counseling based on the training program developed by the National Health Training Center.

• Have experience conducting 6-month psychosocial counseling training according to the modules prescribed by the National Health Training Center.

• Have work experience involving close coordination with provincial and local governments.

Language and Computer Skills:

Applicants must have:

• Knowledge of computers and the ability to use MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Outlook, email, the internet, and Kobo Tool.

• The ability to type in both Nepali and English.

• The ability to communicate verbally and prepare reports in both Nepali and English.

B. MSS Officer

Minimum Educational Qualification:

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• Must have completed the Health Assistant (HA) or Staff Nurse course, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, and registered with the relevant professional council.

• Must have completed at least a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and obtained registration with the relevant professional council.

2. Age Limit

Applicants must have completed 21 years of age and must not exceed 45 years.

3. Documents Required for Application

Applicants must complete the application form in the format prescribed by the Sudurpashchim Province Public Service Commission and submit the following documents:

• Two recently taken passport-size photographs.

• Certified copies of academic qualification certificates.

• Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.

• Certified copies of work experience documents.

• Certified copies of training certificates.

• Original voucher confirming payment of the prescribed application fee.
