With the objective of making foreign employment safe, organized, and dignified, Tokha Municipality is operating the Safe Migration program. To disseminate information related to safe foreign employment in Tokha Municipality, provide support and facilitation in foreign employment-related cases, deliver psychosocial counseling services, and conduct awareness programs related to foreign employment, it is necessary to fill the following human resource position on a contract basis.
Therefore, this notice has been published for the information of all concerned, and eligible interested Nepali citizens are requested to submit an application to this office within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.

Qualification
The qualifications for the Psychosocial Counselor must meet the requirements prescribed by the Psychosocial Counselor training curriculum developed by the National Health Training Center under the Ministry of Health and Population and approved by the Ministry of Health, as follows:

Must have passed Health Assistant or Staff Nurse from a recognized educational institution, or must have passed Bachelor’s level from a recognized university in Public Health/Nursing/Psychology/Sociology/Social Work/Health Education, or must have passed Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.

Candidates who have completed a 6-month training related to psychosocial counseling and hold a certificate from the National Health Training Center will be given special priority.

Must have knowledge of computer-related skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email/Internet.

Must be able to speak and prepare reports in both Nepali and English.

Must not be disqualified to apply for a government service post as per prevailing laws.

Must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years as of the application date.

Candidates with work experience in the foreign employment sector will be given special priority.

Priority will be given to individuals from the concerned local level.
Work Duration
The appointment for the above post will be up to the end of Ashadh 2083. It may be renewed based on program requirements and performance evaluation.
Type of Examination
Selection for the Psychosocial Counselor will be done through an interview of shortlisted candidates. Salary and other benefits will be as per program rules.

The application form must be submitted to the Administration Section along with the voucher/receipt of the application fee paid at the Revenue Section of Tokha Municipality.
