Town Development Fund Calls Applications for Executive Director
The Town Development Fund (Sahari Bikas Kosh) has invited applications from qualified and interested Nepali citizens to fill the vacant position of Executive Director. The Executive Director Recommendation Committee published the first notice on 2083 Asoj 12 (2083/06/12), requiring eligible candidates to submit their applications within 21 days.
Interested candidates must submit their applications within 21 days from the date of publication of the notice to the Fund’s office at Phulchoki Mai Marg, New Baneshwar, Kathmandu. If the final date for application submission falls on a public holiday, applications may be submitted on the next day the office opens.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit

Qualification and Experience: Candidates must have obtained a master’s degree from a recognized university in Economics, Management, Chartered Accountancy, or Engineering, along with at least five years of experience in the relevant field. Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any one of the stated subjects must have at least seven years of experience in the relevant field.

Special Condition: Candidates whose sole educational qualification is Chartered Accountancy must have obtained an equivalency certificate from the body designated by law.

Age: Candidates must have completed 35 years of age and must not have exceeded 54 years as of the final date for application submission.
Documents and Details to Be Submitted
Applicants must submit the following documents and information:

A duly completed application form in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Town Development Fund Staff Service Conditions (Amended) Regulations, 2068.

Certified copies of Nepali citizenship, educational qualification certificates, training certificates, and experience certificates.

A self-declaration stating that the applicant is not disqualified under Regulation 138 of the Regulations.

A working paper containing a business plan in the format provided by the Recommendation Committee. The document must:

be written in Nepali;

not exceed 5,000 words;

bear the candidate’s signature on the back of every page;

be submitted in two copies;
-
be sealed in a separate envelope; and
-
clearly state the candidate’s name, surname, and address on the outside of the envelope.

Candidates from an engineering background must also meet the qualification and relevant experience requirements stated in the notice.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 3,000 (Rupees Three Thousand Only) in the name of the Town Development Fund at Global IME Bank, Baneshwar Branch, and submit proof of payment.

The Recommendation Committee may reject application forms that are not submitted in the prescribed manner. Candidates who submit false information or documents will be subject to action in accordance with prevailing law.
The remuneration and other facilities for the position will be provided as prescribed by the Town Development Fund Rules, 2054.
When publishing the final list of candidates, the Recommendation Committee will specify the venue, time, and date for the presentation of the work plan, including the business plan, and the interview.
