World Bank Group Vacancy for Senior Operations Officer

The World Bank seeks to recruit a dynamic professional as a Senior Operations Officer to be based in Kathmandu, Nepal. This is a 2-year Term Appointment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Country Director and the Operations Manager in interactions with the Government and stakeholders in Nepal, contributing substantially to the development, implementation, and monitoring of the country partnership framework.
• Support the Operations Manager in portfolio management for Nepal.
• Advise operational staff on the design and implementation of projects to mitigate governance and corruption risks in World Bank-financed projects.

Selection Criteria:

• Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience.
