ANNOUNCES ADMISSION OPEN FOR MBA/MBA-Evening Program (MBA-EP)/MBA-Jobholders/ MBA-Finance/MBA-Global Business and EMBA

Pokhara University, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) invites the applications for admission in Masters of Business Administration (MBA), MBA -Evening Program (MBA-EP), MBA-Jobholders, MBA-Finance, MBA-Global Business, and Executive MBA programs for August 2019 intake in constituent campus and affiliated Colleges of Pokhara University
Eligibility
Applicant must have a bachelor degree or equivalent with 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling and three years of undergraduate) in any discipline with minimum CGPA 2.0 or 45% in bachelor's level. In addition, candidates applying for EMBA must have a minimum of two-year work experience at the supervisory or executive level in the organized corporate sector.
Seats Available: Total 561 seats are available for paying students and 39 seats for scholarship in this session.

Application Process :
- Candidates/students applying for paying seats should submit their application form to respective colleges.
- The application form is available at www.pu.edu.np. It can also be obtained from concerned colleges or can be downloaded from their web page.
- The Application fee for all the programs is Rs. 1,600 for paying and Rs. 1,000 for scholarship candidates.
- The Application for Scholarships should be submitted to Dean's Office, FMS, PU, Pokhara. The Application
Form for Scholarship can be obtained from the Dean's Office, FMS, PU or can be downloaded from www.pu.edu.np.

Last Date of Application Form Submission: 2076/03/10 (June 25, 2019)-Tuesday
Written Test Date, Time and Venue:
- For Fee Paying: 2076/03/14 (June 29, 2019)-Saturday, 8:00 AM, Venue will be notified later on.
- For Scholarship: 2076/03/21(July 6, 2019)-Saturday, 8:00 AM, PU School of Business, Pokhara.
Exam Type, Questions and Duration:
- For Fee Paying: Pokhara University, FMS, will conduct Management Admission Test (PUMAT), which will include 100 objective multiple choice questions with 5 options: Verbal ability 25, Quantitative ability 25, Logical Reasoning 25, and General Awareness 25; Duration of the Examination-2 hrs. After the Dean's Office publishes the Merit List of the PU CMAT, the Candidates who qualified the test will have to apply for admission to the program and college of their choice. The Final Merit Score will be published by the concerned colleges after including the mark scored by the student in Personal Interview and mark allocated for their previous academic achievements/records. The Final Merit Score will be the basis for admission.
- For Scholarship: There will be a separate examination for the scholarship as per the PU's Scholarship Rules.
This test includes 150 objective questions with 5 options- Verbal ability 40, Quantitative ability 40, Logical Reasoning 40, and General Awareness 30. Duration of the Examination is 3 hrs. Please visit www.pu.edu.np for detail information regarding the scholarship.
