BSM, BIT, BBA, BALLB Admission Open: Gandaki University, Office of the Students Admission Committee announces admission open for different undergraduate programs for the academic year 2079/ 80 (2022).
Programs Available:
Bachelor of Sports Management (BSM):
BSM is a four-year (eight-semester) full-time study program consisting of 52 courses covering 156 credit hours. This course provides a diverse range of opportunities for higher education. After graduation, students can enroll in general management, sports management, and sport science for graduate studies. Likewise, students will be able to work in a variety of fields and capacities once they have completed the program.
Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT):
BIT is a four-year (eight-semester) full-time study program consisting of 45 courses covering 137 credit hours. This course is designed with the aim to hone the student's ability with world-class knowledge in advanced theoretical and practical aspects. The graduates of the BIT program will have ample opportunities to work in IT offices, as IT Project Managers, Software Developers, and so on.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA):
BBA is a four-year (eight-semester) full-time study program consisting of 42 courses covering 120 credit hours. The program comprises foundation, core, specialization, elective, and capstone courses. Students also need to complete seminars, internships, and project work.
Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BALLB):
BALLB is a five-year (ten-semester) full-time study program consisting of 89 courses covering 190 credit hours. The course includes several humanities and social science subjects such as sociology, political science, history, economics, Nepali, and English as minor areas of study to complement the wide range of law subjects as compulsory subjects to satisfy the requirements. This course is fit for anyone who wants to acquire legal knowledge with their art studies.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For BSM: Minimum CGPA 1.6 or equivalent in Grade XII (or XI & XII combined if the official transcript includes both) from a recognized institution/ university.
For BBA: Minimum Credit Point 1.6 in each subject of Grade XIIand CGPA 1.8 or equivalent in Grade XII (or XI & XII combined if the official transcript includes both)from a recognized institution/ university.
For BIT: Minimum CGPA 2.0 or Equivalent in Grade XII (or XI & XII combined if the official transcript includes both).
For BALLB: Minimum CGPA 2.4 or Equivalent in Grade XII (or XI & XII combined if the official transcript includes both).
Admission Procedure:
Admission is taken based on the entrance exam merit list. Merit List is based on:
- For BSM, BIT, and BALLB program, 90% of the score comes from the entrance exam, 5% from CGPA in SEE (Grade X), and 5% from CGPA in SLC (Grade XII, or XI & XII combined if official transcript includes both), and
- For BBA program, 80% of the score comes from the entrance exam, 10% from CGPA in SEE (Grade X), and 10% from CGPA in SLC (Grade XII, or XI & XII combined if the official transcript includes both).

- SEE (Grade X) Certificate, Transcript, Character Certificate photocopy
- SLC (Grade XII) Certificate, Transcript, Character Certificate photocopy.
- Citizenship Certificate photocopy.
- Two passport-size photos.
- Entrance exam fee Rs.1500

Scholarships: Gandaki University is providing various kinds of scholarships, such as Entrance Topper Scholarship, Gandaki Pradesh Scholarship, National Player Scholarship, Semester Topper Scholarships, and Gandaki University Chancellor Scholarship.
Number Of Seats: 48 for each program.
