Far Western University Publishes Revised B.Sc. CSIT and BIT Admission Schedule
The Office of the Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, at Far Western University has published a revised notice concerning new admissions to the first semester of the four-year bachelor’s-level B.Sc. CSIT and BIT programs conducted under the semester system.
The Dean’s Office has published the admission schedule for students interested in enrolling in these programs for the academic session 2083/084.
According to the notice published on Asar 22, 2083 BS, students may submit their application forms by Bhadra 4, 2083 BS (2083/05/04). Application forms may be obtained and submitted at the B.Sc. CSIT and BIT department offices or the concerned campuses.
The entrance examination fee has been set at Rs. 1,500 and must be deposited into the account of the concerned department or campus.

Entrance Examination Dates and Times
B.Sc. CSIT: Bhadra 17, 2083 BS (2083/05/17), from 1:00 PM
BIT: Bhadra 18, 2083 BS (2083/05/18), from 11:00 AM
The examination will be held at the concerned department or campus, or at a location designated by the Dean’s Office.
Result Publication
The results for both B.Sc. CSIT and BIT will be published on Bhadra 22, 2083 BS (2083/05/22).
Admission Period
Admissions for both B.Sc. CSIT and BIT will take place from Bhadra 23 to Bhadra 30, 2083 BS (2083/05/23 to 2083/05/30).
Commencement of Classes
Classes for both B.Sc. CSIT and BIT will begin on Ashoj 1, 2083 BS (2083/06/01).
Academic Qualifications Required for Admission
The Dean’s Office has prescribed the following minimum academic qualifications for admission to the programs:
B.Sc. CSIT
Applicants must have passed +2 with Science, securing at least a ‘C’ grade in each subject.
Alternatively, applicants must have completed a Diploma in Computer Engineering, securing at least a ‘C’ grade in each subject.
BIT
Applicants from any stream must have completed +2 with at least a ‘D’ grade or a 1.8 CGPA. They must also have studied Mathematics carrying at least 100 full marks.
