Far Western University Announces Entrance Examination for B.E. and B.Architecture Admissions
The Office of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering, at Far Western University has published an entrance examination notice for the admission of new students to the bachelor’s-level B.E. Civil Engineering, B.E. Computer Engineering, and B.Architecture programs for the academic session 2083/084.

Each affiliated college has five scholarship seats for the B.E. Civil Engineering program.
Minimum Qualifications for Application
Applicants must have completed secondary-level education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, an Engineering Diploma, or an equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.
They must have secured at least 45% of the total marks. Under the letter-grading system, applicants must have obtained a CGPA/GPA of at least 2.0 on a scale of 4.
Applicants must also have secured at least 45% in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Under the letter-grading system, they must have obtained at least a ‘C’ grade in each subject.
For A-Level applicants, a minimum ‘D’ grade is required in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while at least a ‘C’ grade is required in the other subjects.
Students who have appeared in the final examination of Grade 12 or an equivalent level, or in the sixth-semester examination of an Engineering Diploma, may also submit a duly completed application and participate in the entrance examination subject to the prescribed conditions.
Application Procedure and Fee
Students applying to the Far Western University School of Engineering or for scholarship quotas at affiliated colleges must complete the online application form from 2083/03/24 to 2083/04/18 BS.
Applications may be submitted by visiting www.fwu.edu.np or www.facultyengineering.fwu.edu.np and logging in through the “Engineering Admission Open” section.
The entrance examination fee is Rs. 2,500 (in words: two thousand five hundred only).

Entrance Examination and Admit Card Distribution
The following details apply to the School of Engineering and scholarship-quota applicants:

Admit cards will be distributed on the examination day from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Students must bring their Nepali citizenship certificate or National Identity Card when collecting the admit card.
Note: Classes at the School of Engineering, Mahendranagar, will be conducted during the day shift.
Full-Fee Admissions at Affiliated Colleges
Admissions under the full-fee category, excluding scholarship seats, will be managed by the respective affiliated colleges according to the following schedule:
