Nepal Army Invites Applications for MBBS Study at AFMC Pune
Kathmandu. The Nepal Army, Recruitment Selection Directorate, Army Headquarters, has invited applications for participation in the MBBS course to be conducted in 2026 at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune, India.
The Directorate published a notice on Shrawan 20, 2083, seeking eligible candidates from among the children of serving and retired Nepal Army personnel.
According to the notice, candidates willing to be commissioned and serve in the temporary or permanent post of Technical Second Lieutenant in the Nepal Army may apply. This appointment will be governed by the agreement signed between the Nepal Army and the individual proceeding for study, as well as the prevailing military acts and regulations, after the candidate successfully completes the course and returns.
Required Qualifications and Conditions
Candidates must have passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Examination and obtained a NEET-UG Rank Card/Score Card.
Candidates must have a registration slip issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Candidates who have passed the NEET-UG (MBBS)-2026 examination must register for online counselling through the Indian Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website, www.mcc.nic.in. They must present the registration slip when appearing for the interview.
Application Date and Procedure
Application Period: From 2083/04/20 to 2083/04/26 during office hours.
Application Venue: Candidates must personally appear at the Recruitment Selection Directorate to submit their applications.
Application Fee and Payment Procedure
Application Fee: Rs. 1,000 only.
Bank Account Details: Candidates must deposit the fee into Nepal Bank Limited Account No. 00101000000001001001, under Office Code 345013513 and Revenue Heading No. 14224—Examination Fee.
Candidates must submit one original and one photocopy of the bank voucher along with the application form.
Reporting Date and Venue
Candidates who have submitted applications must personally report to the Recruitment Selection Directorate at 9:00 am on 2083/04/27.
