
Public Notice from the Government of Nepal, Nepal Veterinary Council
Information has been received that Purbanchal University published a notice on 2082/04/06 regarding online/offline application submission for the entrance examination of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) program.
Non-Compliance with Legal Provisions
The publication of this notice, without following existing laws of the Council, is found to be in violation of:

Section (9), Clause (Chha) of the Nepal Veterinary Council Act, 2055

Rule (10), Sub-Rules (1) and (2) of the Nepal Veterinary Council Rules, 2057

Nepal Veterinary Council (Minimum Standards for B.V.Sc & A.H. Degree) Regulations, 2063 (Second Amendment), 2080
Status of Affiliated Institutions

The affiliated institutions under the university have not yet obtained permanent accreditation.

According to the minimum standards of the Council, these institutions must undergo monitoring and inspection by the Council.

Only after receiving temporary approval can they publish conditional admission notices.

This mandatory process has not been implemented.
Directive for Future Admission

The concerned university must cancel the current admission process for the upcoming academic session.

Admissions must begin only after fulfilling the Council’s minimum standards and securing formal approval.

A public notice is hereby issued for all stakeholders in this regard.
Important Clarification for General Public

Admissions announced as per the previous notice from the university will not be recognized or approved by this Council.

The public is informed accordingly.
Consequences of Non-Compliance

If the current admission process continues without fully enforcing the stated provisions, the graduates may not be eligible for future registration in the National Licensure Examination for Veterinarians.

The concerned university and educational institutions shall bear full responsibility.
