PAHS, Lagankhel, Lalitpur, Call for Applications for PhD in Public Health Sciences
Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) is a public not-for-profit institution dedicated to improvement of health of the people in Nepal. PAHS invites highly motivated candidates to undertake advanced training and research in its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health Sciences program.
This three-year, full-time program starting on 16 April 2026 is designed for professionals and researchers committed to contributing meaningfully to public health knowledge and practice in Nepal and beyond. It aims to develop independent researchers, academic leaders and public health scholars capable of carrying out relevant research in Nepal and elsewhere.
Eligibility Criteria

Master’s Degree in Health Sciences OR

Master’s Degree with at least three (3) years of experience in a health-related field and a minimum of three (3) publications in peer-reviewed journals.
All applicants will take written exam and shortlisted candidates on merit basis will be called for submission and presentation of a research proposal along with interview.
