Apex Management College

Apex Management College (AMC) was established in 2018 AD (2074 BS) as a venture of Birgunj College. Located at Shreepur-11, Birgunj, Parsa, Madhesh Province, the college was founded to develop administrative and legal skills relevant to the local market.

AMC is affiliated with Far Western University (FWU). It offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program under the university’s Faculty of Management.

Bachelor of Business Administration

The FWU BBA is a four-year, full-time undergraduate program divided into eight semesters. The curriculum comprises 120 credits covering foundation, business core, specialization, elective, synthesis, and practicum-based courses.

Foundation courses introduce economics, behavioural sciences, statistics, mathematics, information technology, communication, and the legal environment of business. Business core courses cover the main functional areas of management, while specialization and elective courses allow students to study selected business subjects in greater depth.

The program also includes project work, business and community attachments, field-based assignments, industry visits, and individual research activities. These components connect classroom learning with organisational and business settings.

The BBA curriculum supports the development of leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, time management, business acumen, and communication skills. It also introduces students to entrepreneurship, research, information technology, and managerial decision-making.

Library and Academic Support

The college library contains textbooks and reference books required for academic study. It also has a computer with internet access and a photocopy machine.

Students receive a set of books after admission, reducing the need to purchase all required course books independently. A special scholarship package is also available for students.

Transportation

AMC operates a college bus for students travelling along the Kalaiya route. The transportation service is available at a minimum monthly cost.

Extracurricular Activities

The college conducts training sessions, seminars, educational tours, presentations, and workshops alongside regular classroom activities. Students may also participate in oratory, essay writing, quizzes, games, and marathon events.

Sports and recreational activities include cricket, football, indoor games, outdoor games, and outings. The college has its own cricket and football teams.
