Greenwich Academy and College is a coeducational English-medium institution located at Kageshwori Manohara-7, Pepsicola, Kathmandu. Established in 2052 BS (1995 AD), it has gradually grown into a learning community where children can start from early childhood classes and continue their studies up to Ten Plus Two (10+2) and the Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program. The institution aims to provide a stable, well-structured environment so that students can build their education step by step over many years.

Greenwich welcomes learners from pre-primary to secondary level and extends its services to higher secondary and undergraduate studies. Because students often remain in the same institution for a long period, teachers get the chance to understand each learner’s pace, strengths, and difficulties, and can guide them more personally throughout their academic journey.

Located in a residential area of Pepsicola, the campus is convenient for families in Kageshwori Manohara and surrounding parts of Kathmandu. Greenwich started as an English-medium school and later expanded to include Ten Plus Two programs affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB) and the BBS program affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU). Over more than two decades, it has developed into a combined school–college structure that tries to maintain consistent expectations, discipline, and academic values from the lower classes to the bachelor level.

Academic Programs

School Level (Early Childhood to Secondary)

Greenwich enrolls students from playgroup to grade ten, leading up to the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). The curriculum includes languages, mathematics, science, social studies, and different co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

• strengthening reading and numeracy skills

• improving spoken and written English alongside Nepali

• using project work and group tasks to build confidence

Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)

The BBS program under Tribhuvan University is a four-year course designed for learners who have completed Ten Plus Two or equivalent, preferably with a Management or Commerce background. The program covers areas such as accounting, finance, organisational behaviour, and the broader business environment.

Students learn through lectures, classroom discussions, assignments, and project work. These methods are intended to help them understand how organisations operate, how financial and managerial decisions are taken, and how different parts of a business are connected in practice.

Teaching and Learning Approach
