Overview
Himjyoti Multiple Campus (हिमज्योति बहूमूखी क्याम्पस) is a community-owned campus located in Sarkegad, in the southern belt of Humla district, Karnali Province, Nepal. Affiliated with Tribhuvan University, the campus provides higher education opportunities for students in one of Nepal’s remote mountain districts.
The campus offers four-year full-time bachelor’s degree programs in Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Its academic scope is focused on Arts and Education, giving students access to university-level study through Tribhuvan University without leaving the region for these programs.
Himjyoti Multiple Campus is identified as the first campus to offer Bachelor of Education in the entire Karnali region. Its B.Ed program is connected with teacher education access in Humla and the wider Karnali area, while the BA program supports study in the Arts stream.
The campus receives support from the University Grants Commission of Nepal and the Ministry of Social Development, Karnali Province. It has also been providing scholarship facilities to students, reflecting its role as a community campus serving learners from Sarkegad, Humla, and nearby areas.
