Janata Campus Rangeli

Janata Campus, established in 1987 AD (2044 BS), is a community-based campus situated in Rangeli, Biratnagar, Morang District, Nepal. It is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and the National Examinations Board (NEB). 

The University Grant Commission of Nepal recognizes it. It offers Bachelor's degree programs in Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), as well as various 10+2 programs in Management and Education.

Established in 2044 BS, Janata Campus Rangeli is a community-managed higher education institution. Located in a peaceful and clean academic setting, the campus is supported by well-known, experienced faculty members. It comprises a two-storey concrete classroom building and a two-storey administrative office building.

Considering the current state of academic development, the financial background of guardians, and the aspirations of students pursuing higher education, the campus has become a prominent institution among the nearby villages of southeastern Morang.

Origin and Community Support

The campus was founded after the Office of Rangeli Village Development Committee allocated 7 bighas of land in 2039 BS. With support from local social workers, education enthusiasts, businesspersons, teachers, guardians, and various organizations, Janata Campus was successfully established as a community initiative.

Infrastructure and Human Resources

Janata Campus Rangeli includes 16 classrooms along with an administrative building. There are 16 teaching faculty and 5 administrative staff currently working under private sources.

Currently, approximately 350 students from the southeastern Morang region, including villages such as Dainiya, Aamgachhi, Takuwa, Baradanga, Darbesha, Sorabhag, Babiyabirta, and Rangeli, are enrolled at the campus.

Scholarships and Inclusion

The campus provides a 3% tuition fee concession for Dalit, academically talented, and students from low-income backgrounds to promote inclusive education.
