Institutional Overview
The campus was established to expand access to bachelor-level education in the area. In addition to its academic role, it operates with backing from Dewahi Gonahi Rural Municipality, the University Grants Commission, the Ministry of Social Development of Madhesh Province, and local citizens. This reflects a community-linked institutional base rather than a private standalone model.
Academic Programs
Jay Kishan Multiple Campus offers two TU-affiliated bachelor programs, both under the annual examination system and both listed as four-year programs. The BBS program is offered under the Faculty of Management, while the B.Ed. program is offered under the Faculty of Education.
The BBS program follows the TU Faculty of Management structure for the four-year annual system. Its academic pattern includes foundation and core business courses, followed by concentration courses, business research methods, and a final project in the fourth year. TU also sets attendance, evaluation, and annual examination requirements for the program.
The B.Ed. program follows the TU Faculty of Education four-year annual structure. The program is organized into communication skills, professional core courses, specialization major courses, specialization minor courses, and teaching internship or practicum. The curriculum is designed as both an academic and professional program for teacher preparation.
Student Facilities and Support
The campus features library service, sports, a computer lab, multimedia support, journal-related academic resources, counseling, scholarships, classrooms, educational tours, and extracurricular activities. These facilities indicate a campus environment that combines classroom teaching with co-curricular and student-support functions.
Scholarship support is available for Dalit students, Muslim students, girls, Indigenous communities, persons with disabilities, martyrs’ families, and students from extremely weak economic backgrounds. This makes financial support a visible part of the campus structure.
