Overview
Jibraj Ashrit Polytechnic Institute (जीवराज आश्रीत बहुप्राविधिक शिक्षालय) is a constituent technical educational institution under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), located in Isma Rural Municipality–5, Gulmi District.
The institute offers a Diploma in Geomatics Engineering, a four-year program with an intake capacity of 48 students, including four seats reserved for scholarships. Scholarships are awarded based on merit to deserving and economically disadvantaged students, ensuring access to quality technical education for all eligible learners.

Diploma in Geomatics Engineering
The Diploma in Geomatics Engineering at Jibraj Ashrit Polytechnic Institute is a four-year technical program designed for students who want to build a career in surveying, mapping, and spatial data management. The course blends classroom learning with field-based training, ensuring graduates are ready to meet the demands of the profession.
Students gain hands-on experience with modern surveying equipment, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), remote sensing tools, and mapping software. The program covers both theoretical and practical aspects of geomatics, including land surveying, topographic mapping, photogrammetry, cartography, and data analysis.
The course admits 48 students each year, with four seats reserved for scholarships. These scholarships are awarded based on merit and are aimed at supporting deserving and economically disadvantaged students.
By the end of the program, graduates will be able to carry out accurate land surveys, prepare maps, manage spatial data, and contribute to infrastructure development, urban planning, environmental monitoring, and other sectors where geomatics plays a vital role.
