Overview
Lubhoo Secondary School, locally known as “Pathshala,” is located in Mahalaxmi Municipality-8, Lubhoo, Lalitpur. Established in 1958 B.S. under the verbal instruction of Prime Minister Dev Shumsher, it began as Lubhoo Bhasa Pathshala.
What started as a small local school has gradually developed into a multi-level institution offering general and technical education.
Today, it offers classes from Nursery through Grade 10. Since 2018 AD, it has been running a Diploma in Civil Engineering program affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

Academic Programs
Lubhoo Secondary School offers both school-level and technical programs for students at different stages of their learning.

Early Grades to Grade 10: Students receive classroom instruction in core subjects such as mathematics, science, language, and social studies. Learning is supported by experienced teachers and a welcoming environment that encourages participation and curiosity.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: DCE is a three-year technical program, which started in 2018 AD, is affiliated with CTEVT. It accepts 48 students annually and offers four full scholarships based on merit or need. Applicants must pass the SEE examination and qualify through the CTEVT entrance process. The program follows the national curriculum set by CTEVT and includes theory and practical training.
Scholarship
The school provides scholarships in both general and technical streams to support learners from different backgrounds. Under CTEVT guidelines, four scholarships are available each year in the civil engineering program. Based on academic performance and financial need, additional support in the lower grades may be offered.
