Mirmee Multiple Campus

Mirmee Multiple Campus was established in 2062 BS (2005 AD) as a community-based campus which is located in Gandaki-8, Mirmee of Syangja district in Nepal.

Mirmee Campus is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) and offers bachelor's degree programs in Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS). It is imparting quality higher education in the field of Education, Arts and Management arena.

Objective

Mirmi Multiple Campus exists so that young people from Mirmee, Kaligandaki Rural Municipality, Syangja, and nearby areas can study further without leaving their community.

Its main objectives are to:

• Offer higher education that is within reach, both geographically and financially, for local students.

• Help learners build a clear understanding of Arts, Education, and Management so they can use their knowledge in real-life situations.

• Prepare graduates who are honest, responsible, and ready to serve their community and country.

• Improve classroom teaching by closely following Tribhuvan University (TU) courses and academic standards.

• Encourage students to think, question, discuss, and reflect instead of relying only on memorization.

• Give local youth a real option to continue their studies at home, close to their families and responsibilities.

• Work together with nearby schools and community groups to spread the habit of reading, learning, and sharing knowledge.

Mission

The mission of Mirmee Multiple Campus is to provide steady, trustworthy higher education in Arts, Education, and Management to students from rural and semi-urban backgrounds, especially from Syangja and the surrounding region.

To live this mission, the campus:

• Follows Tribhuvan University syllabi and exam systems so that teaching and evaluation remain fair and clear.

• Keeps teaching grounded in the classroom but adds field visits, practical work, and local examples whenever possible.

• Encourages teachers to keep learning through trainings and academic discussions, and to bring new ideas and methods into their classes.

• Tries to build a learning environment where students feel respected, heard, and comfortable asking questions.

• Offers guidance and basic counseling so students can make informed choices about subjects, exams, and future plans.

• Talks with parents, local bodies, and institutions to understand the community’s needs and reflect them in academic activities and programs.

Scholarship

Mirmee Multiple Campus understands that many students come from families with limited income, and higher education can feel difficult to afford. As a community campus, it tries to reduce this burden as far as its rules and resources allow.

In general, support may include:

• Fee reductions or small awards for students who perform well in board exams or internal assessments, as decided by the campus.

• Partial fee support for students from financially weaker backgrounds after reviewing the required documents.

Academic Programs

Mirmee Multiple Campus is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and currently runs three bachelor’s degree programs. Each program follows TU’s curriculum and examination system.

Bachelor of Arts (BA)

• An undergraduate program in Humanities and Social Sciences.

• Includes subjects such as language, literature, and social sciences, depending on the combinations offered by the campus under the TU framework.

• Helps students improve their reading, writing, communication, and analysis skills.

• Offers a base for further study and for roles in teaching (with additional training), local administration, media, social work, and community-based organizations.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

• An undergraduate program for students who wish to become teachers or work in the education field.

• Covers topics such as educational foundations, child and adolescent development, teaching methods, classroom management, and assessment.

• Connects theory with classroom practice so that future teachers learn how to plan lessons, manage classes, and support different types of learners.

• Prepares graduates to teach at basic and secondary levels or continue their studies in education and related areas.

Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)

• An undergraduate Management program based on Tribhuvan University’s BBS curriculum.

• Includes subjects like accounting, finance, business economics, business law, and organizational behavior, along with other management-related courses.

• Helps students develop skills in record-keeping, basic financial analysis, planning, and decision-making that are useful in offices, cooperatives, small enterprises, and organizations.

• Lays a foundation for future work in banking, business services, entrepreneurship, and for further studies in management at the master’s level.
