Campus Background

The Chapakot Campus (चापाकाेट बहुमुखी क्याम्पस) was established with the idea that higher education should be available within rural communities. In its early phase, it operated from Gangalal Secondary School in Chapakot. This local start reflects the community-based character of the institution and its role in expanding access to bachelor-level education in the area.
Over time, the campus developed its academic base and physical setting. In 2063 BS, it received permission from Tribhuvan University to run B.Ed. in English, Nepali, and Population under the Faculty of Education at the undergraduate level. Later, on 2070 Falgun 22, it received affiliation to run BBS under the Faculty of Management.
The campus now operates in its own building at Tikanidhabari Bandi. A total of 46 ropanis of land was provided by Acharya Dajubhai of Chapakot Municipality-9. The land is registered in the name of the Government of Nepal and leased for campus operation.
Academic Programs
Chapakot Multiple Campus offers two bachelor-level programs under Tribhuvan University:
Both programs are four-year full-time bachelor’s degrees. The B.Ed. program has been part of the campus since its early academic expansion, while BBS widened the campus’s scope by adding a management stream. Together, these programs serve students seeking education and management studies within the local region.
Learning Environment and Student Support
The campus presents its teaching environment as clean and pleasant, with classes handled by experienced and capable professors. Teaching is designed around practical and student-centered methods. Morning classes make the schedule suitable for students who need a fixed daily routine.
Academic evaluation includes project work, field visits, internal examinations, and timely assessment. This structure gives students classroom learning along with academic activities connected to real situations.
Scholarship support is available for excellent, meritorious, and economically disadvantaged students. The campus also gives place to internship participation in coordination with partner organizations and includes employment support among its student service priorities.

Facilities and Campus Services
The campus includes a range of academic and student-support facilities. These include a library, e-library access, computer lab, multimedia support, projector-based teaching, digital board use, counseling, sports, classrooms, educational tours, and extra-curricular activities.
Skill development programs are conducted regularly. The campus is also managed through an operating committee and administration that support its academic and institutional work.
