Nagarik Community Teaching Hospital

Nagarik Community Teaching Hospital (NCTH), located in Kaushaltar, Ghattaghar, Madhyapur Thimi, Bhaktapur district, is a trusted institution for healthcare services and health science education. Governed by Nagarik Community Hospital Ltd., NCTH manages the ANPC College of Health Science, a CTEVT-affiliated educational institution that offers the PCL in General Medicine (Health Assistant) program.

Since its establishment on 15th Baishak 2066 BS, the hospital has focused on expanding access to community-based, affordable, and skill-centered health education and services. What began as a 55-bed facility has grown into a well-equipped 100-bed hospital, with plans to expand further.

Offered Program

PCL in General Medicine (Health Assistant)

The Health Assistant (HA) program is a three-year diploma-level course affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). This program is structured to prepare mid-level health professionals capable of delivering preventive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare services.

• Scholarship Quota: 4 seats (based on CTEVT rules)

• Duration: 3 academic years

• Curriculum: As prescribed by CTEVT

• Eligibility: SEE passed (or equivalent)

• Admission Requirement: Must pass the CTEVT entrance examination

Scholarship Opportunities
