The BCA curriculum develops knowledge of computer systems while giving students repeated opportunities to apply programming and technical concepts. Early semesters introduce computer fundamentals, office automation, computing English, mathematics, Programming in C, digital logic, C++, and operating systems.
Later semesters cover data structures and algorithms, microprocessors, computer networking, Java programming, database management systems, computer architecture, system analysis and design, web designing, probability and statistics, .NET technology, e-governance, software engineering, computer graphics, Python programming, cyber law, and e-commerce.

Eligibility and admission
Applicants must have passed Plus Two, Intermediate, PCL, or an equivalent qualification from any academic stream. They must have obtained at least 40 percent in aggregate or an aggregate C grade, stated as a minimum GPA of 1.61.
Admission is based on marks obtained in the entrance examination. Applicants should prepare for the admission process according to the requirements applied by Rajarshi Janak University and the campus.
