The BBA curriculum is designed to develop knowledge of business and management while also introducing students to social sciences and information technology. It covers managerial concepts, analytical work, communication, research, decision-making, and functional areas of business.
Applicants must have successfully completed twelve-year schooling or its equivalent with:
A minimum of 45 percent in aggregate, or CGPA 1.8 on a 4.0 scale.
A minimum D grade in each subject.
Academic qualifications from a university, board, or institution recognized by Rajarshi Janak University.
At least 40 percent in the Rajarshi Janak University Central Management Admission Test (RJU-CMAT).
Eligible applicants are required to sit for the RJU-CMAT conducted by the Faculty of Management. The entrance examination consists of 100 objective questions carrying 100 marks.
The test covers four areas:

Quantitative Ability – 25 questions
Logical Reasoning – 25 questions
General Awareness – 25 questions
Selection for admission is based on the entrance examination score.

Management and allied subjects include Business Communication, Business Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Research Methodology, Entrepreneurship, Business Strategy, International Business, and Project Management for Sustainable Business.
Computer-related study includes Information Technology for Business, Database Management, Management Information System, and Data Analysis and Modeling.
Students may study specialization courses in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or Information Technology Science according to the university curriculum.
Unish College combines regular BBA classes with academic and skill-based activities. These include PowerPoint presentations, case studies of national and multinational companies, group discussions, seminars, business model workshops, industrial and service-sector visits, and guest lectures involving speakers from universities in Nepal and India.
The college also identifies communication training, time-management training, leadership activities, personality development, MS Excel training, business accounting practice, article-writing workshops, research paper writing, and advanced MS Office training among its BBA-related learning activities.
The university curriculum also allows teaching through lectures, seminars, case studies, group discussions, guest lectures, role play, research work, projects, and assignments.
BBA students complete an eight-week internship during the final semester. The internship carries three credit hours.
Each student must prepare an individual project report based on work completed in the assigned organization. Evaluation includes the organization's confidential report, the student's project report, and a presentation. Students must obtain at least a B grade in the internship.
The program prepares students for further management study as well as entry-level work in business and organizational settings. The university curriculum identifies areas such as marketing and sales, financial services, human resource management, operations and supply chain management, business consulting, and entrepreneurship among possible career directions for graduates.
The BBA also provides an academic base for postgraduate study in business administration and related management disciplines.
