Overview
The Ten Plus Two (+2) Management program at Cosmopolitan College, Sifal, Kathmandu, Nepal, follows the national curriculum and builds a clear base for business studies. Within the first year of study, learners meet core requirements in English, Nepali, and Social Studies, and begin business subjects such as Accounting and Economics.
The second year extends these areas and adds Business Studies and optional subjects.
Eligibility & Entry Requirements

Completion of SEE or equivalent with at least 40%.

Entrance schedule published by the college; selection based on eligibility and the entrance stage.

Curriculum & Subject Combination

Compulsory: English, Nepali, Social Studies (as per NEB).

Core Management Subjects: Accounting, Economics, Business Studies.

Optional (as available): Mathematics, Computer Science, Marketing fundamentals, or a social science subject.
Subject combinations are confirmed in the intake notice each year. Practical tasks include ledger preparation, cashbook entries, financial statement basics, demand-supply analysis, and short market surveys.
Teaching & Learning
Classes run in manageable sections. Methods include short lectures, guided practice on numerical problems, discussion of case snippets, and weekly written tasks. Instructors hold fixed hours for questions on accounting procedures, micro/macro concepts, and exam preparation.
Assessment & Examination

Periodic unit tests and terminal exams.

Project or report work in Grade 12 on topics such as inventory systems, local market mapping, or basic budgeting.

NEB board examination at the end of Grade 12.
Progression & Career Paths
Graduates commonly continue to BBS, BBA, CA, ACCA, or diploma courses in finance and office management. Entry roles include account assistant, customer service trainee, junior operations staff, or administration support in SMEs and cooperatives.
