The BBS program follows the annual examination system of Tribhuvan University. Final evaluation is conducted through the Office of the Controller of Examinations. Students must maintain at least 70 percent attendance in the classes actually held to qualify for annual examinations. A student must appear in the first-year final examination before appearing in the second-year final examination.
The grading divisions in the annual examination system are Third Division at 35 percent, Second Division at 45 percent, First Division at 60 percent, and Distinction Division at 75 percent. In the final year, students complete research and a final project, including fieldwork, report writing, evaluation, and viva-voce.
