Course Structure
The four-year BA follows TU’s interdisciplinary structure. Students study compulsory courses including English, Nepali, and Nepal Studies, along with major and elective subjects within the same stream. Within the TU BA framework, subject areas include Anthropology, Geography, History, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Rural Development, Social Work, Film Studies, Hindi, Nepali Linguistics, Population Studies, and related fields. The program carries 2,000 marks in total, with 500 marks in each academic year.
Eligibility and Assessment
Students who have secured at least D+ in all subjects in Grade 11 and Grade 12 are eligible to apply. Students with Intermediate, Proficiency Certificate, or 10+2 qualifications in Humanities, Science, or Management from Tribhuvan University or another board or university recognized by TU are also eligible. Student evaluation combines written examinations and internal assessment, including mini projects, classroom presentations, and teamwork.
