The BBS program follows the TU annual system. Final examinations are conducted by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University. Students need at least 70 percent attendance in classes actually held to qualify for the annual examinations. A student must appear in the first-year final examination before appearing in the second-year final examination.
Students are required to pass theoretical, practical, and project components separately where applicable. The annual grading pattern includes Third Division at 35 percent, Second Division at 45 percent, First Division at 60 percent, and Distinction Division at 75 percent.
