Paschimanchal Prabidhik Shikshalaya, located in Shuklagandaki-4, Dulegaunda, Tanahun, Gandaki Province, offers a Diploma in Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT).
It is affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). This program is delivered under the national curriculum and is accredited by the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC). With a total intake capacity of 30 students, the course runs for three years and includes classroom instruction and clinical practice. Three scholarship seats are available based on eligibility criteria set by CTEVT.
The CMLT curriculum, developed by CTEVT, focuses on core laboratory science. Students study clinical biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, parasitology, pathology, and serology. These skills are reinforced through on-site training at the 50-bed Tanahun Sewa Hospital.

Multimedia tools and printed learning resources support theoretical understanding. Each student maintains a logbook of practical experience, which is regularly reviewed and assessed.

Successful performance in the entrance examination conducted by CTEVT
