Kathmandu University Basketball Team Wins RITZ Engineering Cup 2082
Kathmandu University proudly congratulates its Basketball Team for winning the RITZ Engineering Cup 2082 (Technical Cup)—a moment of genuine pride for the university.
The team made history by playing—and winning—four back-to-back matches in a single day, a first in KU basketball. This outstanding run showed not only stamina and teamwork but also sharp game sense, as they consistently scored around 50 points per match.
In the final game, KU faced COSMOS College and secured a solid win with a score of 53–41. It was a hard-fought contest, but our players stepped up when it mattered most.
A special shoutout to Sakshyam Chapagain, who was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament for his all-around performance.
