Student Festival to Be Held at Mahendraratna Campus Ilam
A student festival will be organized at Mahendraratna Multiple Campus in Ilam (MRM Ilam) with the aim of drawing distinct conclusions for the district’s educational improvement. The campus-based Free Students’ Union has stated that the festival will be held from Magh 23 to Magh 25, 2082.
Participation Target
According to Union Chairperson Bishal Karki, the goal is to involve students from all higher secondary schools in the district as well.
Planned Discussions and Sessions
Karki stated that the festival will include activities in multiple stages, including educational debates, discussions with experts, literary debates, and discussions on the campus’s past, present, and future.
Activities Included in the Festival
It has been stated that the festival will include the following:

Exhibition stalls featuring handicrafts and science-related displays produced by students, including those from higher secondary schools

Various food items

Processions representing different ethnic groups and communities

Oratory programs

Cultural programs
On the occasion of the festival, Karki said that programs have been planned including the launch of a souvenir publication issued by the Free Students’ Union and the establishment of an endowment fund for students.
Alumni Reunion and Expected Attendance
An alumni reunion has also been included in the festival. It has been stated that approximately ten thousand students will participate, including three thousand from the campus and seven thousand from outside.
