Gorkhapatra Sansthan is set to organize ‘Gorkhapatra Discourse’ on Thursday, 18 December 2025. With the objective of engaging in dialogue with the private sector for sustainable economic development, the Sansthan is organizing this type of program for the first time.
This program, to be held under the name ‘Gorkhapatra Discourse on Recovery and Resilience,’ will take place at The Plaza in Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
Purpose and Context
The ‘Discourse’ is being organized to create a common platform among the private sector, experts, policymakers, and stakeholders for a high-level national discussion on Nepal’s economic recovery, the investment environment, and future development strategies, with the aim of identifying challenges and opportunities.
The Sansthan stated that it is organizing the program in a new format on the occasion of the 125th (Centenary Silver Jubilee) year of Gorkhapatra Daily and the entry into the 61st year of The Rising Nepal.
