TAFE NSW YES Education Networking Evening Kathmandu

TAFE NSW, working with YES Education Group, hosted an appreciation and networking evening in Kathmandu that brought together partners and stakeholders from the education sector. The program focused on collaboration, shared progress, and practical conversations among participating institutions.

The session was led by Ms. Viji Shankar, International Student Recruitment Manager at TAFE NSW. She shared updates on TAFE NSW programs and explained key compliance requirements under the ESOS Act and the National Code, offering partners a clear overview of expectations and processes linked to international student study routes.

To keep the evening participatory, the organizers included a guessing game and a table-based quiz. These activities encouraged group interaction and added a relaxed rhythm to the program while supporting knowledge sharing among attendees.

During the awards segment, partner institutions were recognized for their contributions to student recruitment and ongoing cooperation. Members of the YES Education team assisted in distributing certificates and gifts to the tables.

Mr. Arun Shrestha, Country Manager at YES Education Group, thanked attendees and highlighted the value of continued coordination between TAFE NSW, YES Education Group, and Nepal-based partners to strengthen student options and maintain consistent service standards.

The evening closed with group photographs and a networking dinner, leaving participants with new connections and a clearer sense of next steps for future joint work.
